How we're funded: affiliate links

Padel Post is free to read. One way we fund it is through affiliate links in the equipment section. Here is how that works.

Current status: retailer links do not yet contain a partner ID – we currently earn no commission. We already label them as ads because we are setting up the partner programmes.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link leads to a retailer we work with through a partner programme. If you buy something there after clicking, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price stays the same for you.

How do I recognise them?

Every retailer link is labelled “Ad” or “Ad · affiliate link” and goes through our own address (padel-post.com/go/…). There are also notices at the price comparison, above every best-of list and in the footer.

Independence

Selection, order and assessment in best-of lists, the racket finder and on product pages are based solely on the product data in our catalogue. Whether and how much commission a retailer pays has no influence. We do not currently test products ourselves and say so.

Prices are reference prices from our catalogue with the date they were recorded. You'll see the current price and delivery time at the retailer.

What we store when you click

When you click a retailer link we store the retailer, product, language, the page you came from, a rough country (from the network header) and the time – no IP address, no browser fingerprint, no cookies. This shows us which content is useful. Our cookie-free analytics (Plausible) also counts the click. The retailer's own privacy policy applies on their site.
