Fairplay Padel Open Returns to Barcelona: Women's Tournament on June 6th

The Fairplay Padel Open returns to Tu Club de Padel in Barcelona on June 6th, bringing competitive women's padel action back to the courts. This grassroots tournament emphasizes both competition and enjoyment, offering participants a full day of matches with guaranteed minimum play and exciting prizes.

Tournament Format and Participation

The Fairplay Padel Open guarantees participants a minimum of three matches plus knockout rounds, ensuring every player gets substantial court time regardless of their category level. The tournament welcomes women of all competitive levels, with two prize categories to accommodate different skill levels.

Registration is open now with early bird pricing available until May 22nd. Players who register before the deadline pay just €20, with the standard rate increasing to €25 after that date. With spots filling quickly, interested participants are encouraged to secure their place soon.

Prizes and Welcome Package

Competitors in the first category can compete for €100 in prize money, while second category players compete for padel racket holders (paleteros). All registered participants receive a welcome pack including a tournament t-shirt, overgrip, and a beverage to kick off the day.

Beyond the main prizes, the tournament organizers are running a raffle offering additional prizes including jamón (Spanish cured ham), textiles, gin and tonics, and more. This focus on creating a fun, community-oriented atmosphere distinguishes the Fairplay Padel Open from purely competitive tournaments.
